Youth Conference: DAY ONE

First we drove to Mormon Flats- near SLC. Then we took a hike.

A long 2 1/2 hour hike that was really ht and we ran out if water. But it was fun because of the group I was in. :)

Then we had lunch followed by a discussion with the Patriarch and his wife. 

Then we tried to unlock our leader's car to get in- and I ended up setting off the car alarm... Haha it was so funny that I fell to the ground laughing so hard...

After that we drove to our campsite and set up our tents. :)

Then we changed into our swimsuits and when to a lake. :) We swam and jumped if of this big blow up float thing. It was WICKED. :) The water felt amazing and those few hours in the water felt AMAZING! :)

Then we drove back to our campsite while rocking out to music in the car- but on re corners our seat belts choked us.. It was actually really funny! Haha. :)

Next up we'll be having a Pioneer Dinner, followed by square dancing and old pioneer games. :D

We'll then have an evening devotional and discuss our ancestors and funny stores about them... Hahaha
