California Update

So- here's the update:

Friday was the last day of school for us Utahns. ;) School got out at 11:50am for those who go to Dixon. I went home with my mom, and we set out to pack up the car, and get on the road. It took approx. 10 HOURS to get to Reno. Which is in Nevada- and is near the border of Nevada and California. We slept at my mom's cousin's house that night- and then headed for Sacramento the next morning. It took us approx. 2 1/2 hours to get there. This is where we met up with Superman, Joe, and BriBri. We ran to them and attacked them. :D Then- we took a tour of the car museum, and then we scootered to Old Sacramento.

In Old Sacramento we went into many candy shops. It was SO cool!!

Then- it started to rain. :P So- we quickly scootered back to the car- and drove to the Governor's Mansion. Which was WICKED. We only got to view a few of the first floors, though- because they were still saving up money to restore the upper floors. But WOW- it was so amazing!!!

Then, for dinner- we went to Fresh Choice. Which is much like a Souper Salad, or a Sweet Tomatoes.

After dinner we came home and collapsed. We were all TIRED.

Sunday we went to Superman's ward, and that was a lot of fun, too. :) After church- we all came home and changed into JAMMIES!!!! :)

Then we went to my G-ma Webb's house for dinner, and to play with cousins. :)

For dinner we had pork, mashed potatoes, yams, corn on the cob, lemonade, fruit salad--- the list goes on, and MY OH MY- it was DELICIOUS! :)

Today we slept in- which was SO good! :) For breakfast- most of us had my mom's AMAZING granola-- that she had made the night before.

Then we played around a bit. ;)

After that- we went on a "hike." (It was paved, and mostly flat.)

BriBri had his Cars scooter, and the other siblings had "Big Kid" scooters. I was riding a rip stick.

At one point- we had to ride on gravel and dirt. ("FUN" :P) I had a small wipe-out, which now has resulted in a sore tushe (toosh-E), and a Beat-Up hand covered in a falling off band aid.

We came home and relaxed for a bit- and then family started to arrive for a Memorial Day BBQ.

It was really exciting. :)

Everyone has now gone home, and we are all relaxing and going to bed. Yatta-yatta.

Joe and BriBri have school tomorrow. They finally get out in a couple of weeks. :P (Utahns are actually really lucky. :) )

Tomorrow we are going to San Francisco. (YEAH- but without the boys. (BOO))
